Job Description:

  • Project management of project across a variety of sectors and project sizes
  • Quantem are a client-focused team – working closely with clients, updating clients on progress, while taking personal responsibility in dealing with clients and striving to exceed their expectations
  • Facilitating the management of the design, procurement, implementation and completion ofprojects in accordance with the programmeCo-ordination of all relevant parties of the project from inception to completion.
  • Good level of communication and information management with entire project teams
  • Our project managers can be asked to act on behalf of our clients, lead negotiations and coordinate client and supplier teams.
  • Assist clients in defining project requirements and briefs, and ensuring adequately transferred to the project team
  • Facilitate and lead value management and value engineering exercises

Along with the Cost Consultant, manage the project budget and report to the client in accordance with their requirements

  • Stakeholder management and co-ordination of third-party interfaces
  • Risk management, through structured workshops and self-implemented discipline
  • Building and leadership of teams
  • Ability to manage personal workload and good time management, in conjunction with your line manager be able to prioritise work load
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Provide guidance, advice and support to junior members both in their work and professional development
  • Complying with the companies Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality Standards

Qualifications / Required Skills

  • Preferably MRICS
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
  • Experience managing differing forms of contract and administrating recognised construction contracts
  • Experience in the successful delivery of significant projects throughout the whole project lifecycle
  • Experience of working in a consultancy environment
  • A strategic thinker with broad problem-solving skills
  • Organised, diligent, polite, professional attitude, presentable, proactive, assertive and commercially aware.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Preparation of various programmes using recognised planning software
