Description:

Our client is a planning and property consultancy, operating from a network of 7 UK offices to deliver comprehensive property services to a variety or investor, corporate and private individual clients.

The central marketing team is based in the London office and serves the business primarily from there. The fixed term contract (maternity cover) role is ideally suited to a senior marketing executive or junior marketing manager looking to establish and grow their skill set in medium business and take the next step up in their career. The role is varied and busy and will provide opportunities to work closely with the business and take ownership of marketing campaigns which will make a real impact.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement business wide marketing plan with support of the marketing executive
  • Line management and mentoring of marketing executive
  • Oversee and implement social media campaigns (LinkedIn/Twitter only, including content creation)
  • Liaison with external Public Relations company to ensure maximum coverage of key business areas in the media
  • Gather and format content internally for press releases, newsletters and social media posts and distribute appropriately
  • Creation, circulation and follow up of external communication (digital and print mentions)
  • Work closely with the marketing executive on the design approval (and ad hoc creation) of property marketing brochures and flyers
  • Design and maintenance of general corporate brochures/flyers
  • Gatekeeper of external brand messaging/appearance
  • Some corporate event management
  • Departmental budget control and coordination
  • Provide a level of internal communication to the whole business (quarterly newsletter/departmental newsletters and ad hoc business updates)
  • Some travel to other offices required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3-4 years marketing experience (within the property industry is advantageous but not essential)
  • Proficient in WordPress management (or similar)
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise workload efficiently
  • Content writing/creation experience
  • Excellent communication, from secretaries to management board, external agencies, clients and suppliers
  • Adobe experience (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop primarily) desirable
  • Experience of allocating and tracking corporate marketing budgets (desirable but not essential)
  • Google analytics experience is desirable to track, monitor and report efficiencies of marketing campaigns
  • Line management/mentoring experience
